Covering 14 states and boasting 464,500′ elevation gain and loss, a typical through-hiker will take about 5 – 7 months to hike the entire Appalachian Trail. What do I get with my order? This package includes an Appalachian Trail Challenge entry, premium medal, and downloadable bib.
How does the challenge work? To complete this challenge, you will record 350 km (220 miles) of activity. Our results platform will keep track of your total distance logged from the activities you submit until you reach the finish line!
When can I submit results? June 29 – December 31, 2023
How do I submit results? After you register, you will receive an activation email. Think of this as your check-in at the Registration Tent before you head to the Start Line. You can use any app or device to track your run. You can submit results by entering your activities manually or connecting directly to one of these apps: Strava, Garmin, fitbit, Polar, Suunto, or Coros.
Do I have to run? Absolutely not! This is your race and you get to complete it at your pace. When you submit results, you will be able to select what type of activity you used to complete the distance.
When will my order ship? This package is in stock and now shipping! You will receive an email confirmation when your order has shipped so that you know to keep your eyes peeled.
