Summit: Aconcagua - Entry + Medal
Collect your gear. Set out for Argentina. Start your trek by hiking to Confluencia, the first base camp on Mount Aconcagua. Here, you will start adjusting to the altitude and planning your journey. You will need at least four days of good weather forecast to make a summit attempt.
The Andes are the largest continental mountain range in the world, extending north and south to the extreme tips of South America. The crown peak of the Andes and highest summit of South America is Mount Aconcagua, rising to 6,962m (22,841 ft). Grab your shoes and find some hills; it is time to test your mettle against the mountain and earn your medal at the summit.
Can you conquer Aconcagua, or will the mountain conquer you?
