Summit: Kosciuszko - Entry + Medal
Collect your gear. Set out for Australia. This mountain offers a chairlift in Threbdo, which will take you to the Kosciuszko walk, but you came to climb. Departing from Charlotte Pass, this climb takes about 6-8 hours to complete the return trip. While this mountain can be submitted in a day, it is a steep climb and the weather can change quickly, so be sure to check the forecast and plan ahead.
The Snowy Mountains, also known as The Snowies, are the highest mountain range on the continent of Mainland Australia. Perched on top of this mountain range is Mount Kosciuszko at 2,228m (7,310 ft). Grab your shoes and find some hills; it is time to test your mettle against the mountain and earn your medal at the summit.
Can you conquer Kosciuszko, or will the mountain conquer you?
